New research suggests that the way you sleep in bed speaks volumes about your personality. There are six main positions for sleeping and each of them is a telling portrayal of the sleeper.
People who lie in the foetus position are likely to be tough yet sensitive, they may be shy on first meetings but soon relax.
If you sleep on your side with arms by your sides in the “log” position you will be sociable, outgoing and popular whilst at times gullible.
“Yearners” tend to have an open nature yet cynical and sometimes suspicious, once their mind is made up, there’s no going back.
The “soldier” sleeps on their backs with their hands at their sides. They tend to be quiet, reserved and likely to set themselves high standards.
Brash characters that have a tendency to be nervy and adverse to criticism lie mostly on their front with their arms around the people.
“Starfishes” make great friends, they’re good listeners although they’re not keen on being the centre of attention.
